The Story Behind Fulla
Fulla was created by NewBoy Design Studio, a Syrian company that began developing the concept around 1999. The doll launched in late 2003 with a deliberate mission: to give Muslim girls a fashion doll that looked like them, dressed like them, and reflected the values their families held.
The name comes from the Fulla jasmine flower, native to the Levant region. From launch, the brand partnered with Spacetoon — the leading Arabic children’s channel — to reach families across the Middle East. By 2005, Fulla had displaced Barbie as the dominant fashion doll in most regional toy stores.
In 2015, NewBoy relocated to Dubai, continuing to expand Fulla’s world through animated series, a print magazine, and a growing accessories line. Today the brand reaches families in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, and Muslim communities across Indonesia, Brazil, and beyond.

What Families Are Saying
Real feedback from parents and children who’ve made Fulla a part of their home.

Nadia R.
Bought the hijab Fulla set for my daughter’s birthday. The clothes are well made and she plays with it every day. Much better fit for our family than the alternatives.

Sara M.
Ordered the Fulla doll house bundle and it arrived well packaged. The doll itself is sturdier than I expected. My daughter hasn’t put it down since she opened the box.

Yasmin H.
My girls love that Fulla looks like them — dark hair, modest outfits. The abaya and prayer set were a nice touch. Good quality for the price, will buy again.
